Student Grievance Process
Raise a concern without retaliation. Start with the school when practical, keep copies, and use the appropriate state process if the issue remains unresolved.
Effective August 15, 2026
1. Tell us what happened
Email admissions@cnatrainingcenter.com with “Student grievance” in the subject, or deliver a written concern to the school. Include your name, relevant dates, the people or policy involved, supporting records, steps already taken, and the outcome you are requesting.
If the concern involves the usual recipient, address it to the School Director. If it involves the Director, state that the matter should be reviewed by Operations & Management. Urgent safety concerns should be identified as urgent.
2. School review and response
The school will acknowledge the concern, identify who is reviewing it, request any necessary information, and provide a written response after a fair review. Complex matters may require more time; the reviewer should communicate material delay. Keep the response and all related records.
You may ask in writing for a second internal review when you believe material information was overlooked or the stated process was not followed. Internal review does not prevent you from using an external complaint process.
3. External complaint options
Current and former private vocational school students can review the Washington Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board’s instructions and online complaint portal at Workforce Board School Complaints. The Board asks students to make a good-faith effort to use the school’s internal process first and publishes filing time limits, so review its current instructions promptly.
Concerns about a nursing assistant training program can also be filed through the Washington State Board of Nursing’s nursing assistant education complaint process.
These agencies control their own jurisdiction, deadlines, records, and procedures. This page does not limit any right to contact a regulator, report discrimination or safety issues, seek legal advice, or use another remedy available by law.
Records and privacy
Share only information relevant to the concern. The school limits internal access, but investigation may require sharing details with the person involved, a regulator, insurer, adviser, or other authorized participant. External agencies publish their own privacy and public-records notices.
